Join us this Year in Tenerife Spain. Tenerife’s Teide is the highest peak in Spain and one of the Highest in Europe. The highest road elevation is around 7700 feet. Everything in Tenerife starts from sea level, that’s right you can climb from sea level to a maximum elevation of 7700ft. If you want to climb Tenerife is the spot, the road surfaces are great and the atmosphere is amazing. This year’s trip will truly be an incentive to stay in shape through the winter months and get a strong start on you 2010 season. We will still be offering guided tours and training this winter. Particularly in the Hamptons, NYC, Northern New Jersey, Philadelphia, and other Pennsylvania locations. Winter is a great time to get out on the mountain bike when the conditions make road cycling difficult.

Vogue’s Beauty Assistant Christina Han chronicles training for her first triathalon.
“The mission: replace my cruiser with a speedy road bike. I hopped a train headed for Southampton where Dylan Schlott, my coach, picked me up in his mud-splattered Jeep and took me to his trusted cycling haven, Rotations (

Reuben Kline, the store’s resident junkie (he recently cycled alone from Canada to Colorado), fit me to what would fast become my new best friend: a Specialized Ruby Elite Triple, a.k.a. Ruby. I kitted out the ultralightweight carbon frame (essential, since I live in a fifth-floor walk-up) with sparkling Shimano pedals—the most budget-friendly choice.”

“If there is one guy who kind of embodies the Rotations vibe, it is local racer and training guru Reuben Kline. His official title is Race Director of EventPower, where he organizes rides to support charitable causes.  He also has a site, which is a window into what makes him special. All that said, it is how he pays attention to detail and understands what cycling is about (that “bond” I keep beating to death) that identifies his talent.  So Reuben Kline was the man I wanted to fit me—and he actually agreed to do it.”

An award-winning feature film about the world’s toughest mountain bike race, which traverses over 2700 miles along the Continental Divide in the Rocky Mountains. The film weaves the story of three characters’ experiences with immense mountain beauty and small-town culture as they attempt to pedal from Banff, Canada to a small, dusty crossing on the Mexican border.
